Kari Noser is a portraiture, photojournalism, and fine art photographer serving the greater Houston area. She specializes in artistic portraiture, and holds sessions at your home or other location of your choosing. She excels in connecting and creating with her clients images that they will cherish for a lifetime.
Coming from generations of artists, both musical and visual, Kari inherited her artistic eye primarily from her father (an amateur photographer) and her grandmothers (one a painter, the other a serious doodler). She began her love of photography as a teenager after receiving a 35mm camera and 4 rolls of black and white film for Christmas, and experienced a renewal of this passion with the birth of her daughter in 2003.
Raised in the Austin area, Kari has lived in Texas for 29 years. She was legally naturalized as a Texan in 2001 by a judge in Burnet, Texas, just to be safe. She resides in Houston with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
Kari uses Cannon digital gear, Mamiya TLR medium format equipment, and prefers natural light in her image creation.
Hello Kari, our Starbucks Silent Auction started 4 years ago after one of our beloved customers lost his battle with AIDS. We have since hosted this auction to raise money for the AIDS Foundation Houston in his memory. Over the years, we have raised over $35,000. However, we could not be successful without the generosity of our local art community who has donated over the years. If you would like to donate an art piece to a great cause or help spread the word to fellow artists, we would appreciate it. Every dollar raised goes to AFH. If you need more info, contact Angela @ 713-521-7278. (3407 Montrose-Starbucks)
