Welcome to "Friends of KPFT..." So glad you joined!

As far as coffee shop AM meetings, great idea... My artwife (Alicia Duplan, also on this site) and I live in the Heights and used to hang out at Onion Creek every morning for years... Now we go sporadically and have started to frequent "Waldo's" on Heights Blvd. between 10th and 11th Streets. They are artist friendly... I'm having a one person show there starting mid July and running for five weeks.

We're so Heights-centric... save the planet and all... let us know what you think- Our number is 713-864-3496

At 11:52am on April 30th, 2008, margaret said…: What a friendly bunch! thanks for the warm welcomes...would like to know whether you guys ever meet at a "LikeMinds" coffee...I was at a PSFK conference and heard about the concept of a gathering at a regular time and place (at Starbucks/wherever) where people of like minds could have a cup of coffee before work and catch up/share ideas/network informally. Houston should have a group!
