i would like your opinion....are you familiar with olympus om-10 35mm camera?, are they decent cameras?....been wanting to get one....i like using 35mm film i use a olympus stylus 120 and i love it but i prefer manual focus.
well im kind of embarrassed to say considering the type of cameras everybody here on this site uses......but i use a canon powershot A590 IS (8 mp) and a olympus stylus 120 (35 mm).....but im hoping to get a canon eos rebel tI1...someday....
The camera head dates from 1890-1900 I caught my grandmother throwing a bunch of photographic items out one weekend saved the camera head and the original studio's embosser. There is much more in the original home my great grandfather lived in but have not been able to get back to Kansas to pick it up.
Man I really thought I had it! I saw a wall that looked very similar in Tacoma Washington, at a local Thriftway, same brick wall adjacent and all. oh well thx for getting back to me. Have a good weekend!
Thanks for the add back, I like many of your photographs you def have an eye for a beautiful/unique picture. I wanted to ask you where was that mural photo taken (that says restaraunt on it)? I think I have seen something similar...just curious to know if I am right! thx
It's a Nikkor 55-200. I've been to Leadville many times. I lived in Denver and in Albuquerque for a long time. I love that area of the Rockies -- wild majesty! Do you go out west often? Take care -- Annis
Hi Tim,
I really like Picture #19 -- reminds me of Montana. I remember all those homestead homes out on the prarie abandoned. Walking through I would try to imagine the people who had lived there -- 30 miles from the nearest town. Your photos are really nice!
Tim check out CitySkip they asked me to join but it
is PERFECT for you

Thank you. I would like to post some more but I have been busy as of late. I would like to find some time to do a downtown Houston nighttime series or a bunch of panographic stitches of familiar places around the heights and midtown.

Seems like you're doing really good so far [refrencing your site statement of 'still trying to figure out this camera stuff' :)
I like the 'Saturday in the Park' scene. It reminds me of a Pointillism painting 'A Sunday Afternoon on La Grand Jatte' by Seurat
