Hello, I am new on this site, but Dune recommended I say hello to you. I love your artwork. Haven't found a way to share mine on the site yet, but am working on it. Otherwise it is on www.artscuttlebutt.com/lisabeth I work with press seaweed and flower petals. I hope we can talk.

Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.

Marzia let go Nicola's show at -gremillion.com.
He is on arts houston.
After his show we can go to the Big Show at the Lawndale.

Dates: July 12 - August 25, 2008
Artist: Nicola Parente
Medium: Mixed Media Paintings
Reception: Opening Reception: Friday, July 11, 6-8pm
Artist talk at 2pm
Description: “There is a meaning in every journey that is unknown to the traveler.” These words by Dietrich Bonhoeffer inspire Nicola Parente’s new work Journey. In these expressive abstract paintings, imbued with movement, Parente draws the viewer into the journey as traveler.

Parente’s upcoming solo exhibition follows on the heels of a dynamic season in which Parente was featured artist and collaborator for Domenic Walsh Dance Theater’s E_Merging_II, and selected for the Texas National 2008 and Texas Art 2008 juried exhibitions.

Parente works from his studio in Houston, Texas. Born in Italy, he draws from a rich Italian heritage and a deep well of cross-cultural experiences to bring his art to life. Working in a variety of media and formats, Parente engages the viewer in dialogues regarding the universal phenomenon of human encounter.

MARZIA,

I WORK UNTIL THE WEE HOURS OF THE MORNING; WHICH MEANS I OFTENTIMES DO NOT STOP UNTIL 3 OR 4AM. THEN, I POWER NAP FOR ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES; THEN GET UP AND MAKE BREAKFAST, AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. EVERY MINUTE THAT I AM NOT NETWORKING I AM SEIZING IT BY DOING SOMETHING IN MY STUDIO. MOSTLY WORKING ON SMALL- MEDIUM-SIZED SCULPTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER. AFTER I COUNT 50, I BOX THEM UP AND TAKE THEM TO STORAGE.

THAT'S HOW I DO IT
