Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.

Dune -

That is fabuloseli! lol
But sadeli I am unable to be there in body, as I head my car that day to Waxahachie area... for my nephew's wedding - dinner that night and wedding to take place the next day at Scarborough Renaissance Festival grounds there.

My spirit will fly around for at least a little bit... so much to do, so little time to fly ...

Didn't know there was a group "friends of" on Yahoo!
I started this one here on artshouston and it's purpose is just to show that fellow artists appreciate the station. Maybe we'll turn a few folks on to it!
I have a vague recollection of the topics you aired on Open Journal... must have been tuned in at the time! Thanks for all you do!
Peace- J

Wow! Thanks for the bio! Natalie Leduc is also a dear friend. And, yes, I saw Daivi and Amora in the photos...
I am curious about the negative e-mail thing... was that on artshouston? Please clue me in-
Thanks for all you do to keep KPFT vibrant! I probably heard you on Open Journal...
Thanks, too, for the invite to the show! I wish you all great success. My partner Alicia's Mom just passed away Thursday, so I can't say that we'll be at the event...

Peace- John

John - I am very great friends with both Daivi & Amora. We dance together, satsangs, been to Amora's concerts, have even had sleep overs here and there!

I have long-term involvement with kpft. Done a few Open Journals, & helped at one time with Clif Smith's shows. Did the news training, though never had time in the right hours to contribute much to the news. I used to sometimes phone Renee with leads. At that time I was also doing the cable show with GreenWatch collective.

I am a "drop-in" person for #1 phone answering in pledge drives during shows that get no help. I used to belong to friends of kpft, but got too many emails with negative communication taking up my time. I share info. whenever I can via emails and word of mouth. But, I am the sort of person who gets over-involved too easily.

At this point, I am trying to get myself out there - beyond my present dance circle and even outside of Houston at times - to connect and host Celebratory Dance RITUALS, Dance Journeys, Art workshops, Dance & relationship workshops. I want to increase my activities in these areas, and leave the fulltime teaching of middle schoolers in the public school system in one year.
I also have a few children's books to get in shape to send out...
and my art is being shown next weekend .

Saturday and Sunday April 26 and 27 please join me to celebrate the power of spirit at the Watershed Studios at 5705 Cornish, 77007, Ph. 713-802-0806 (map)

It is my pleasure to present the inspiring works of these friends:

Bonnie Lambourn, paintings
Kelly Blakley, art car
Natali Leduc, skullptures
Sarah Whatley, found objects
Winston Smith, digital photography

A preview of their work is linked to the photos below.

My open studio and art show is being held in conjunction with the Inner Art Corridor Open Studio Tour. Watershed Studios is #18 on the list of artist spaces ranging along Houston and Washington Avenue. Saturday is also WOW Day ’08, a civic celebration of the Washington Avenue district. You can see WOW Day’s billboard on i-10 West just past the T.C. Jester exit on the north side… All great reasons to reserve a few hours next weekend to explore the district and experience our food, art, shopping and entertainment.

Peace and harmony,
Mary-Jane Buschlen

Welcome, fireUrchin!

Looks like we share some interests! Do you know Ma Daivi and Amora? Perhaps you would like to join our "Friends of KPFT" group here on wonderful artshouston.ning... no financial support required, just a way to raise awareness in the art community about our fabulous Pacifica station's existence!

Peace- John
