CKC StART Street & Urban Arts 2008-2009 1st Annual Student Exhibition Saturday March 28th
CKC StART Street & Urban Arts is a Houston-based organization whose mission is to promote street, urban and alternative forms of art as a positive and creative force in the community.
CKC StART Street & Urban Arts provides community outreach and education through a street and urban art resource center and professional development programs led by successful local urban artists. CKC StART students have access to professional and volunteer opportunities in which they apply their artistic knowledge through hired services under the supervision of professional artists.
In celebration of CKC StART's work in the community, the 1st Annual CKC StART Street & Urban Arts 2008-2009 Student Exhibition will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2009 from 5pm - 10 pm at Aerosol Warfare Gallery, 2110 Jefferson at Hutchins, Suite 113, Houston, Texas 77003. The exhibition will run for a full week featuring artwork and a full installation by KIPP Academy students, workshop participants and various supporters throughout the previous 2008-2009 season.
