The deadline for entry is July 27, 2009 for Houston area artist paintings and drawings.
The event is sponsored by the Shell Center for Sustainability at Rice University and is a component of the annual sustainability conference. The theme of this year's conference is on water.
There is a People's Choice cash award, and no entry fee for artists.
