I have a new art studio. It is in the Galleria area and it is open by invitation or appointment only. You are invited to an open house on Saturday, November 8, from 2:00-8:00pm. My neighbors will also open their doors for visits.

Did you notice? It is cooler in the mornings. And we've actually had some cooler days. I just love it when it gets cool. Reminds me of my days at school in Mexico City, when I used to work late nights at the drafting table trying to get my plans done for next day's review. I had one of those natural wool, big knit sweaters with the brown geometric designs (made in Mexico--think Starsky and Hutch) and it hardly kept me warm. Time to share on my latest efforts. As I said, mainly working on the portraits lately. I'll be posting my most recent work in progress via a pic for your perusal. I like the composition of the photograph. I have a window to my studio and that is where the piece is sitting so I can observe and self-critique as the week goes by.
