Weee...Just to escape the hellishnessnessness of the big messy mess we still need to clean up (as opposed to actually cleaning it up) we evacuated from the aftermath of hurricane Ike (once our power was finally back on) by going to Austin for the weekend....so we were there at the same time that the ACL festival was happening even though we did not go, just as we were outside Stubbs on the same day the Butthole Surfers were supposed to play...but did not go.

ugh...I was stopped by the police when I was entering my shut down fun land tonight....I hate the police because they cause me a great deal of terror...and because I am sorta neurologicly difficult, they always think I am on drugs. It is always the most horrible of feelings. rawwwwwrrrrr!!!!!

I found out only too late last night that there were musical saw lessons happening at Helios.
I own a musical saw that I am having trouble learning to play.
If I had known when and where an actual musical saw workshop was taking place, I surely would have gone.
oh well...maybe I will find some way of lerning when the next musical saw workshop will be. Continue

i am having morning of hangover-uck...I needs to go to a garage sale of a friend from high school. She recently had her second kid, and her daughter who i used to see when she was little is now a teenager.....

Right now my cats are playing like kittens. It took a few days, but Hatey does not hiss at Lovey anymore, and usually when I see them, they are together. Lovey is not nearly so lonely....and clingy/meowy. I hope that Hatey's situation is an improvement.
