Profile Information

Hometown:
Houston, TX
Relationship Status:
Married
About Me:
I've done art all my life, and I teach art at one of the high schools in the area. My favorite style is nonrepresentational, although I've been known to do the occasional "real" stuff just to reassure the family that I know how to draw and paint realistically. I also make beaded jewelry.

addendum to profile

OH - forgot to mention that Tucker is my husband (the original title of my photo is "Tucker's girl") and we've been married for 47 years "so far..." actually it will be 48 years in November. Five children, six grands.

Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.

We're at my son's house in the Heights, since we lost all power, and it looks as if we're going to be the last ones in Houston who regain power. All is well with all the children and grands, even the one who was born on Sept 11th, my birthday! He and his 2-year-old brother, his mom and dad, all spent the night in the laundry room while everything blew around them. A tree fell through their fence, missing the house. We mainly sustained tons of broken branches, but no downed trees. My son Mike had downed trees, one of which landed on his truck. He also had some flooding in his house. My daughter had a tree fall on her house, taking out some fencing, and putting holes in her roof. I believe that she might qualify for some FEMA aid, if some even gets to anyone out there. My sister Carolyn is coming over from Arkansas tomorrow with a generator. It looks as if we'll be out of pwer for another week or two, at the rate things are going. WE checked the updates, and there is 100% loss of power to 12, 800 residents in our part of the area. We're at FM 1960 and the Hardy toll road. Everyone west of the Hardy is getting their power back, but we're east of the Hardy in "no-man's-land". As you can imagine, the new baby's mom is really exhausted. But baby is doing fine, as is his older brother. And big sister is working at a Kroger in their area of the city, so she's doing her part by helping "man" the store for folks who need things.
