my longtime houston faves have been: beans / bipeds, hightailers, dreambreakers, beetle, leslie & jjs, anything with jimb jackson, anything with steve candelari, mandy smith group, the gypsies w/ greg harbar. now in More Cowbell, and sometimes in Los Vertigos. away from locals, longtime admirer of Clarence White who inspired me to play guitar.

Favorite Visual Art Spaces:

the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, in houston, the deMenil, the Redbud complex including the nearby/attached etc, ArtScan, the humble ones like ArtLeague, Lawndale, Commerce St etc,; Wade Wilson and nearbys.

Favorite Performing Art Spaces:

Continental Club, Last Concert, Rudz, Dan El's, Avant Garden, Numbers, Big Easy, Bohemeos and some refinery area honky tonks for different reasons.
