Tonight, Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company and local improvisational band, The Defenestration Unit, are hosting a happy hour party at Avant Garden (411 Westheimer at Taft, used to be Helios) to benefit the Homeless Pet Placement League. The cover is $10 (all going to the HPPL) and there will be food from Prego, The Chocolate Bar and whole foods, drink specials, and live music from The Defenestration Unit.

The event takes place from 6:30pm-9pm.
