Yes. I agree. This was taken in New Zealand. I forget the name of the lake. I think it was Lake Taupo where they have the Iron Man competion...

About Me:: Well... I am a machine designer by day and digital photographer at other times. lately it has been more machine design than snapping pictures - hopefully this will change soon. I was born in Columbus Ohio and grew up in Pittsburgh. I lived in Memphis for about five years before moving to Houston in 1971. We recently moved from Houston's North West suburbs to within the inner loop near Memorial park. My lovely, and talented wife April and I have traveled all over the world and look forward to more. One of my favorite places to take photos is downtown Houston. My current camera is a Canon 20D and I am looking for suggestions for a good macro lens...

There is much more in the original home my great grandfather lived in but have not been able to get back to Kansas to pick it up.

I really like Picture #19 -- reminds me of Montana. I remember all those homestead homes out on the prarie abandoned. Walking through I would try to imagine the people who had lived there -- 30 miles from the nearest town. Your photos are really nice!
