- Unhinged Productions is a Houston production company that exists to provide a GLBT voice in Theatre.
Because live theater has a unique ability to create a direct emotional connection with an audience, it can raise awareness on social issues in a way that no other medium can. Unhinged Production selects works that speak, often with humor, to universal experiences that include discrimination, prejudice, and the quest for individuality. By highlighting these similarities, Unhinged can create common ground between diverse communities and promote understanding. Unhinged has been producing professionally staged plays since August of 1998.
