Someone is spamming ArtsHouston comments with offers for google money kits. This is a scam and they use your information to steal your money. These people are not affiliated with Google. Do not fall for this and warn your friends.

Hey, Shelley! Congratulations on getting a studio over there! Its nice to know you'll still be in the area. Is it a bigger space? I got a call from either them? or from Elder Street Studios? offering a studio vacancy to me because I had been on their list. It sounded very nice with a skylight and all, but rent was higher and I have way too much stuff to sort through or move at present. I feel more or less comfortable here so I don't plan moving anytime soon. I should make greater efforts at saving cash so that moving would be easier in the event that I had to. I am careful with money though, so its not a pressing issue. Anyway I am gearing up for next Saturday. Andy had some health issues this year so his event got delayed for a month. He listed you on the invites and wants you to participate- so please display your paintings! - and spend the evening hanging out with us if you have the time. Its good to have a helpful and supportive artistic friend like you- I need more people like you in my corner- Your presence always elevates and brightens the mood here. So yes - We need to keep in touch. All I know is we better see ya at Andy's Art Climb! Later!

Thanks! I really like this site way better than Myspace. It looks a lot better and is easier to use. I'm in the middle of painstakingly uploading and editing photos. Thanks so much for turning me on to this great artists' website!

like galleries and venues? I prefer to hang out with the artists themselves in the space the work is created, and give them money straight in their pockets.
