- I seem to accept what is best for me only after I have tried almost everything else in the process. As a result, rather than going to art school, I chose to get a Finance degree and try corporate America. After moving to Houston I worked for a creative arts firm and realized I should have pursued my true passion from the beginning. Now I am painting as much as possible and working towards becoming a full-time artist. I love vibrant, pure, unadulterated color and what it can express.

I will try to get The Travelers and Dark Materials trilogy so I can comment on that perspective.
