About Me:
still discovering through my life experiences and this is a first to toot my horn like this. Ok here goes; Protege of deceased legendary stylist in Montrose, Steve O'Cain, trained to be a hairstylist/makeup artist for film, photography, video and salon. It is a way to support my artistic endeavors and an art form in itself that is tangible. Hair is to me like clay to a ceramic artist as well as architectural lines. Growing up around creative individuals along with a background in dance of 9 years, graduating HSPVA, moving into singing/dancing for the Hotlzmans' productions mostly at Equinox Theator during the mid 70's to early 80's, segueing into one of 4 founding board members of Diverse Works '82 and hosting the first fund raiser at original Lawndale Art annex..artist/photographer with an installation for Project Row House round 14 , promoter of Miss ANN'S PLAYPEN with BBQ & Blues. Currently cohosting/coproducing on KPFT 90.1 LIVING ARTS 1-2pm with Michael Woodson, Marcela Descalzi, Bart Boyce, Apama Mackey. Once designated "Hair Goddess" and art pollinator by various individuals by my activism in aiding others when and where I can..from political to selling art to individuals in need or with a good vision especially if it benefits others. No discrimination except with exploiters or ill willed sorts. The gift is in the giving.

I bet you know my friend Stephen Jones, he does the sound for the show. Love the show by the way, not just because of him.
