About Me:: A Native Texan with UK/European roots, I grew up in a creative household environment as I was raised by an award winning journalist and a visual artist. My interest in photography began at an early age when I inherited a plastic Kodak camera. Today I shoot primarily in full frame digital SLR, occasionally in medium format film using an old rangefinder camera.

Here's my public bio:

Ms. Davenport not only captures/creates images that are indicative of our “visual dialects” and history, but also presents them in an ethereal dreamlike fashion, designed to create visual escapes for the viewer. Her images are virtual prints of daydreams consisting of these visions from our past, places and traditions soon to be extinct from our landscape.

An internationally recognized artistic photographer who has been the recipient of numerous awards, served on photographic advisory and portfolio review boards with works exhibited and available in galleries and museums. Her work has also been archived to several permanent museum and private collections as well as being published.
