This is late in coming because I've out of action for a while. But the gull and ring picture is beautiful -- love the pale colors. Have been spending time at Brazos Bend State Park. It's well known for its alligators and wildlife, but I find it a gold mine for landscape photos. In the fall the algue begins breaking up, after 11:30am, and you get this beautiful mix of blue water and split pea soup color. Stir in a few reflections of snow-white cloud puffs and the result can be lovely. Also there's quite of bit of fall color, reds, yellows, golds, etc. Will be posting a few shortly.
