Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.

Hi There,
It's good to hear from you Leslie. It's not every day that I hear someone's interested in Nerdrum. I'd be happy to share some photos of my work and answer any questions you may have!
Just e-mail me at dfoglia@austin.rr.com and I'll reply.

Sincerely,
David

Relationship Status:

About Me:
I am an art teacher and an artist, obviously, or I wouldn't be part of this site. I got my BFA in painting and drawing from Stephen F. Austin State University in May of '02 and then ran a gallery and two satellite spaces in Rock Hill, S.C. (20 minutes from Charlotte, N.C.) for nearly 2 years after that. I was also involved in an experimental project involving art and recycling known as Ripple - Effect supported by the South Carolina Commission for the Arts during my two years in South Carolina. In the Carolinas and back here in Texas when I am not in my studio, I spend many hours volunteering wherever I can at many different theater companies, the center for the arts in my home town, the Houston Grand Opera and especially the Houston Symphony.
My specialty is painting, but my true love is drawing. I also have a lust for printmaking, bookmaking and ceramics. I have begun drawing a LOT this past year (everyday) and have been "going back to my roots" and focusing on drawing on any surface and with any materials I can get my hands on. This past summer I stuck to drawing on vellum or just Bristol, but now I am getting into MUCH larger sized surfaces and drawing on anything I can find/ steal that looks interesting. I have had other studio spaces and experienced the class setting outside of college (Glassell, workshops in the Carolinas and Seattle and many others). My studio mate/ awesome art guy who splits a space with me Kevin Cromwell and I recently survived our first Houston Art Crawl last weekend November 22nd. Hundreds came through our space and the other studios at Mother Dog Studios near downtown Houston. I sold several drawings and have been asked to produce some commissioned work from the Art Crawl experience, which was very pleasing to me. My work now is much different than my work from the 5 years prior and I am going out of my way to really experience new ways of working. The artists I have met at Mother Dog, Box 13 interviewed there in January '08), Glassell and throughout other parts of Houston and Texas have helped to influence me in stepping out of my comfort - zone this past year and to really push my vision of how to produce art and stretch myself conceptually.
Favorite Artists/Performers:
Sacha Dela, KEVIN CROMWELL, Terrell James, Ken Mazzu, Anju Dodiya, Louise Schlacter, John Runnels, Charlie Sartwell, Kara Walker, Ron Mueck, Egon Scheile, Dana Schutz, Katherine Bowling, Chris Anthony, Vladimir Dubossarsky, Odd Nerdrum, Alexander Vinogradov, Robert Kinsell (1 of my favorite professors), Piero Fenci, and many, many others I will list later on.
Favorite Visual Art Spaces:
The Seattle Art Museum, the Met in New York, MOMA, Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, NC, Lawndale, M2,various museums I have been to in Dallas, Pittsburgh, Paris (but the Louvre was cool, but confusing with the constant renovations), London, Rome, Florence. Diverseworks, Lawndale and any other space in Houston not pretentious/ snobby/ ass - hole - ish (what do you think fits in that wretched category kids? Email me....I like hearing what others think. ).
Favorite Performing Art Spaces:
The many hole - in - the - wall theatre spaces I was dragged to in Greenich Village with my best friend Joe, The Actor's Studio in New York, the other hole - in - the wall/makeshift theatres my friend Chad performs in in Dallas, Jones Hall here in Houston (the symphony's newest conductor Brett Mitchell rocks!!!), the Wortham, etc.
