- I'm a backslider without much inspiration right now. I draw, paint, and I've starting exploring photography. I have been drawing since I can remember, my mother gave me my first sketchbook when I was 6. I was an Art student in high schooI, and I hold a BFA in drawing from SFASU in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Fear of a blank page............
Ok, so we all go through it, that feared artist's block that just won't go away! So here we are, I haven't been able to pull off anything but the most simple drawings for a couple of years now, and I beat my self up when I look at what I've done in the past. I get a fantastic idea for a piece, but when I try to put it down, my mind goes as blank as the white page I'm staring at. - hey kimberly! how are you? i got interviewed by the huntsville item today! they wanted to get a pic with me and some of my art so i suggested we go to my studio/storage space. it was really laid back. said it should be in sundays paper in the lifestyles page.

- i have alot of fun doing them. hey i got comissioned to do a portrait last night. they want the warhol style portrait of their 8yr old daughter for her room. her room is peptp bismal pink!! they want it in black and white.

- ok. i thought maybe you had over come your painters block. i love your cat photo. i wasn't sure what it was looking at the small pic then when i hit on it , up came the awesome cat pic.
i got commisioned to do a warhol-esque portrait yesterday. wants a 36"x36" size of their daughter so wish me luck.
