- A native Houstonian, Kevin Sechelski’s formative background is in visual art, poetry, and fashion. Kevin grew up with a true passion for the arts. Even though he enjoyed art throughout his childhood, it wasn’t until high school when he felt the true meaning of “art” was introduced. Kevin pursued art through many channels of education including The Kansas City Art Institute. His work has been exhibited in independent and group shows as well as charity events. The diverse mediums he’s used include acrylic on canvas, wood, pen and ink, charcoal, sculpture, installations, photography, collage and found objects. Kevin’s inspirations have come mostly through his own life events, emotions, thoughts, beliefs and situations. Kevin feels that art is communicating one’s own interpretations and would like to take the time to share his with you
