Art from scrap metal is a second career for me after spending 23 years in information technologies.
My media is various iron and steel scrap - stuff that has strength, patina, and history. The works fall into multiple themes from floral to abstract to intensely human.
A sampling of works created are included here. As time goes by this site will be updated with the newest creations.
It's really nice to live in a very accommodating and relaxing home... Thanks I meet Building Trades Association.I am happy with there service.. best service ever.. thanks...
Hey Jim! I just recently got on here...what a great site.
Your page and work look really good on here. Like we were talking about at H on Sunday. ;-) See ya soon~ T.
Jim,
Did you do a press release? I recently read the book "Taking The Leap-Building a Career as a Visual Artist" by Cay Lang. She states that one tool to help get that publicity is to do a press release and send to the small papers as well as the larger ones. I'll loan you the book if you like. How long is the show running. I want to make some time to come out and would love the artist guided talk/tour.

Congratulation!!! The railroad museum is perfect for your spike pieces. I hope you sell a bunch. I'm back to being a working person for now. I needed to get a full-time job - cash flow stuff. But now I've started back at sculpture work too.
I really like the photos of the flowers by the railroad tracks. And your little spike guys are getting more interesting all the time. The first pictures in your photo group are really exciting.
