Profile Information

Hometown:
Houston, Texas
Relationship Status:
In a Relationship
About Me:
Since her early childhood years, Jacqueline has had artistic leanings. It was not so long ago that the five year old could be found redecorating, to her parents’ dismay, the walls of the house, with fingerpaint and crayons. That fondness towards color through expression, grew into a painting habit that stayed with her all the way through her college training—where she earned a B.A. in Studio Art with a focus in painting and printmaking from American University in Washington D.C.. During that time she had the fortunate opportunity to receive tutelage at the prestigious Lorenzo de Medici University in Florence and in her junior year at university published an art thesis at the National Conference for Undergraduate Research (NCUR), entitled “Massacio’s Effect on the Medieval Catholic Mind, and Why the Church Looked So Unhappy”. After graduating from American University in 2004, Jacqueline returned to her native Houston, Texas, where she became a certified educator in the core subject of art. In 2007, she was selected to exhibit in the 2009 Florence Biennale. Currently teaching art in Houston, she now occupies a space at Winterstreet Studios and is working on her first comic book and animated film short entitled “Carefree in a Beautiful World”.

Favorite Artists/Performers:
At this moment none. But I do like graphic novels, especially David Burns "Black Hole". I read it and I loved the book. I am not sure that is the author's name, but almost positive. I also like Italian film director Bernardo Bertolucci, old favorite, and Stanley Kubrick. As for music, it depends what kind of mood I am in. I also love journalism. And the BBC is my favorite station.
Favorite Visual Art Spaces:
Dakota Lofts because I lease the space and Winterstreet because that is where my studio is. I really liked M squared Gallery on 19th street, really good work. The curator of the gallery, Max Boyd Harrison, put me in touch with artshouston website. Thanks Max!

Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.
