Elder Street Gallery

Upcoming shows

We have spent the last two years posting other peoples work and promoting others. Now its time to show Susan's work. Its strange, when I go to the websites of the artist we promote, most of them do not mention either us or the gallery. That is their choice, but Karma is Biblical.

Peace Out

Terrence

We work very hard for the artists that we show. You are a part of our family and we try to help in every means that we can notifying our artist of upcoming opportunities at other venues, where to get supplies, and when people come to see the artists, letting them know your a great artist.

Terrence,

I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity that exhibiting at Elder Street has afforded me. I first learned about Elder Street from Victoria Lewelling who said that Elder Street was friendly to artists ... I agree.

My wife and I were trying to make an exchange of kids with our daughter last Saturday night (Altered Realities closing) and so, for a brief period of time, we all ended up at Elder Street Gallery. I later asked my daughter what was her favorite piece in the brief time she was there. She said it was one in the corner of the kitchen ... I came to believe that she meant one of Susan's pieces that wasn't even a part of the exhibit. She and her husband are not exactly novices ... they do collect and even have two Peter Max originals. Anyway, to make a long story short, I agree that you should have an exhibit of Susan's work.

Take care,

Al

I also received an indirect email from a friend asking about a call for surrealistic art that led me here. There was no name, just a link that led me to sign up with Arts Houston. My name is Eugenia Algaze Garcia. Please email me if you have any information with regards to the call for surrealism. My direct email is info@mindful-art.com. Thanks.

I received an indirect email by way of Arts Houston.
The note was about Elder Street Gallery and about wanting surrealism. No name was left with the message.
I'm trying to find out who sent the message so that I can respond to them/him/her.
My name is Dan Lewis. I'd prefer a direct email message by way of mediabeing@gmail.com

Hey Susan! I met you the other day when I was driving around the Lofts - remember? Teresa? You let my have a peek at the gallery. Funny to find you here. I just joined up, trying to meet people in the Houston art community because I know NO ONE.

I got on the waiting list, but we'll see. Honestly, the email didn't sound all that encouraging. I swear, I keep dreaming of myself living there on the third floor. I'm obsessed now, so I hope it works out.

Take care!

Will do. I'm thinking the second weekend in July would work out pretty well for our initial meeting, if you're free.
