Workshop Instructors Needed/Alkyd Pro Workshops & Demo Artists Needed:
C.A.S.Alkyd Pro paint company is in the early stages of trying to organize a workshop and demo program to introduce and educate artists about AlkydPro paint. C.A.S.AlkydPro wants to find artists in various areas of the USA who may be interested in hosting these, giving lectures, demos, etc. You would be able to set and keep your fee that you charge participants. We will provide paint for both demonstrations and workshop participants. We would like to know if you would consider being involved. Here are some questions to help you decide if this may be for you:


1. Do you have experience or enjoy teaching, being in front of a group?
2. Do you have time to organize a workshop and free demonstration...finding a location, promotion, registration?
3. Do you know of possible locations in your area (art centers, galleries, colleges,etc.)?
4. Do you think that you can get a group of a minimum of 10 artists together?

Houston-based Francesca’s Collections is seeking a Seasonal Position for their Website!!

• New Hire will be Uploading Product on to Website
• Will need to Code Email Blasts
• Looking for someone to work ASAP!
• Seasonal position will last until early April.


1. Must be proficient in Photoshop
2. Must know HTML and CSS
3. Must know women's fashion & retail knowledge/experience for product description.
4. Must work well in a fast pace and creative environment.

Hourly pay $9 -$10/hr based on experience!

"neopopstreetfunk" is looking for gallery space for there 2010 spring show... If you know of a space please let me know.

Looking for something that can hold 500-1500 people with good gallery lighting.... also a good amount of wall space will be needed!

The theme for this year's open call is: "PLANES, TRAINS, BIKES, & CARS"

Bring us your art Sat. Sept. 5th or Sun. Sept. 6th from 11am-6pm

RULES:
One piece per artist. 4’ x 4’ Maximum.
Work must be ready to hang or place. (Please bring a pedestal if your work needs one) **Space is limited to the first 200 entries.
Exhibition opening is Sat. Sept. 12th from 7-10pm

The Art Car Museum presents our 5th Annual Open Call Exhibition titled
“Planes, Trains, Bikes and Cars”. Artists from around the globe have
been invited to bring in their artwork related to our topic. The Open Call
exhibition provides a unique opportunity each year for artists at any stage
in their career to display their work in a Museum setting. Contributions
from both well established and less recognized artists are exhibited side
by side. In addition to a wide assortment of sculptures, paintings,
photography and art cars, we will also be presenting Sonny Keaton’s
newest custom motorcycle, a full scale airplane by EarthMan and the Art Car Museum’s new corporate jet. Join us for an eclectic celebration of
motorization at our opening on Saturday September 12, 2009 from 7-10pm.

I need to get in touch with a local artist who would be interested in paining a scenic picture of a setting that contains a few elements that must be included. It would be a Texas country(ish) scene. The piece will be used as a poster and in ads to market a community being built in Houston. Any medium is ok - but we would like it to be colorful. We want something that blends abstract and realistic elements.
