Students seeking Art Mentors

So,

Many of my High School Artists would love to work their fingers off at a job, they all want jobs, but I would love them to work at their art. What if they had jobs working on their and your art? Would any of you fit that description. I've seen painters and adobe hackers and obsessive compulsive organizers and the kindest and toughest students...they want to have outside jobs...please contact me if you know anyone.

I am considering the need of 1-2 assistants this summer( end of may?)....
its aVERY mixed bag that includes Haute' Gardening to setting up/revising my studio space ,preping for jobs (gesso boards-pop lines...)because my assistant of almost 9 years is moving-YIKES!
must follow instructions,own transportation a plus,My clients are fairly conservative...no wild hairdos,outfits,tatoos etc . its ok when at my studio/home..not on site
I will pay $8/hr to start for 1st 2 months ,if it is a fit then $10/hr then bigger jobs with more responsibility $12....I dont talk a lot when working....important....but we eat good..
we can talk more about it ---just putting it out there....I teach with city artworks afterschool art programs(5th Yr? I think so) and have done 2 Spark Parks and other projects with elementary thur(HSPVA) high school ....program/projects...thanks!can see large body of my wrk at www.zhibit.com....I do floral design_29 yrs/Haute' Cottage Gardening/Murals-private &public...

Got some face painting work. real regular, and some sporadic bodyart projects that I will be working on throughout the year.... if the students are under 18, then face painting will be the limit, but if they are over 18... then i have some bodyart prjects in the works that i am building a crew for.

Megan, I live in Garden Villas near Hobby(5 min.) I teach after school art w/Travis on Wed(s).dependin' what your schedual is like,maybe I could squeezzz in 1/2 hour -45 min maybe to meet and kinda get going but it may have to wait till my assistant leaves as we are still tryinng to wrap up w/ clients and they are now adding on stuff to get done .let me know
